Bought a nice little nickel plated Radius 20 this week. Has been on my wish list for a long time.
This was the state when it arrived. Missing some bits and pieces.

Buffed it up, changed the washers (NRV came out really easy luckily) and complemented with some parts I had laying around.

This has seen a lot of use, the sellers grandfather bought it before WW2 and used it during the war. His father used it for trips in the 50s and 60s. The reserve cap seat has been soldered on in the wrong location, and I think one leg has been soldered as well. Tin and spirit can very well used as well.

I have a soft spot for nickel plated stoves, so I took out som of it's family members. His cousin Primus 96, uncle Primus 97 and big brother Radius 21 with ufo burner.

    Really beautiful stoves.
    Congratulations.

Perhaps the stove run dry once and overheated at the last moment.
That might explain the wrong location of the parking rest and the soldered repairs.

Wonderful collection, thanks for sharing the great group photos. I like the thought of a sportsman paying a little extra for some extra sparkle back in the day. Likely rather interesting people bought these rather interesting stoves.

Tarnished, polished, brass or plated- the shooting star always looks good!

    What a beautiful nickel-plated sight!
This nickel-plated finish shines like a mirror, which is why
for a long moment I thought there was some kind of plaque on the side of the 97 tank.:)

Thanks folks! [-o< The down side with nickel plated stoves are that they are a real hazel to take pictures of. 9 out of 10 pics ends up as a selfie.
