    Seems to work perfectly. The patina also looks even. Thanks for sharing pictures. I have not gotten around - yet - to other brands and perhaps I will put this in my short list of "to own" along with a Soleus stove :lol:

    You have found yourself a very rare stove, Doug!
    And by the looks of it complete, and that old tin seems period correct if not original. Arara is to my mind an obscure german pre-war brand from Leipzig, if memory serves. Perhaps it traveled to the States with immigrants?

    My compliments on the excellent photography. The stove, of course, is a beauty and all the better for not having that wonderful patina polished away.
