    Hi folks,
    I have just purchased this Burmos stove on our local auction site, I cannot find any similar models on the internet so am looking for information and advice to fettle it into working order.
    I think it may be for a caravan rather than camping as it is fairly bulky.
    Cheers
    John.

    Thank you Martin, that's the first reference I've seen.
    I don't see how it is 'completely collapsible' as the side panels are screwed together! I would call it disassembling, :).
    I will disassemble it to clean and inspect, my idea is to get it back to safe working condition not necessarily pristine restored condition.
    Cheers

    JPH, the term collapsible is open to an individuals interpretation :lol:

    The catalogue was the only reference I could find.
    So, Looking forward to seeing more pictures when you get it apart. An addition to the Reference Gallery.

    Good plan, it still looks smart, and it's only original once!

    @Blackdog
    the casing I will clean as best as I can, really don't want to repaint the black top as it will stick out like a sore thumb!
    It looks as though one of the burners has been replaced as the two designs differ slightly, I am guessing with an Optimus part as the burner cap has Optimus Primus on it and the trivets are made in Sweden, so it is not completely original, however when assembled it is difficult to tell what burners are being used.
    I will replace the caps and trivets with no name parts unless Burmos items turn up, that will make it look more authentic.
    Cheers
    John
