......a hobby is usually taxing the purse and the spouse, we are used to that.
Finding material pleasure for next to no money is a rare thing.

An internet auction-house helped me find this little beauty, located on my way home from work, priced a fraction above the cost of filling its tank with standard unleaded.

....... picture that makes you long for more....no?

I have one just like it. They run really nicely, next thing to do is find you a case for it. Nice score. I love when we get things next for next to nothing.

    Hey, Dirk,

Very nice find, indeed! What kind of case went with that stove? I have an old 111 case that, if it would work for you, I can send along. I have no idea what sort of case your Enders might need, however. Let me know if the old 111 case might work, and you can have it. It has the pot supports, but no longer has it's spring clasp to hold it closed. Also, it's a bit "tired", but can be beaten back into shape, and might do the trick. Let me know...

    Take care, and God Bless!

    Thanks guys,

thanks for the more than gracious offer Doc, 111?s cases wont fit, I have one ....
There was no case, it should have been one of the usual cheap tin buisquit-boxes, that in my view always distract from the beauty of the stove itself anyway..

like this one, although it is in good shape :

At my work we get to see and use most modern stoves, nobody gets attached to them in any way.
But when I showed the old Enders, boooom.................

Dozens of Novas, Omnifuels and Dragonflies pass through without causing a ripple.

The old stove had an effect similar to a particularily well done Buddha-statue...

An awed silence, immediately followed by a chaotic group-fondling.......

Deemed too beautiful to be carried anywhere else than tied to the outside of your pack.

....few modern stoves can justify their outrageous price on the grounds of being more packable, usable and loveable..............

Discontinuing the Svea is not a wise move, I would advertise it heavily,.......

    Stovest regards

    Dirk

There's no reason why it shouldn't if you lavish abit of time and effort on it.
