@Jim Lukowski : as I wrote LUFO is not a part of or made by the Petromax company.
Depending if you are willing to pay the shipment I can buy one for you and ship it to you.

@pysen78 : thank you for the pcitures.
It wonders me that the part that should cool one side of the teg is in the hot exhaust of the lantern flame.

If you look at the russian version you seen that the hot part is central in the heat, then you get the teg and the the cooling fins (inside-outside).
I would have thought the lufo woul have followed the same idea.

@Petroman I didn't see where you posted that Lufo is not part of Petromax. I'd still just like to know why Pelam.de won't ship to the US. I'm interested, but not enough at the moment, but I really do appreciate your generous offer.

What frequency range does the Lufo pick up? Or is AM a global standard?

@Jim Lukowski , sorry I thought I had written that. But they sell it as a product in their shop. Nothing more. It would be nice to know where the FUFO is made.

I do't know what frequencies it can receive. Maybe @pysen78 can help here ?

AM is pretty dead around here so I don't know much about frequencies for that and cant test it.
FM works and gets the same stations and frequencies as my car stereo.
The dial on the lantern is marked:

    88-108 MHz FM
    530-1600 KHz AM
