I bought this kit which worked great. It was only $8.01 with free shipping.
i 1413649383-image.jpg then i found this one which has an extra adapter for screw on cans. 1413649410-image.jpg 1413649441-image.jpg 1413649454-image.jpg 1413649472-image.jpg
It was 3 times the cost but had an extra adapter for screw on flat cans. Everything still fits inside. The hose from second kit will replace the hose on my firefly. Mandatory flame shots after sundown.

Thank you for sharing. In image 1 I see an adapter, in image 2 I see an additional adapter, ok.
The brass adapter in image 4, is that home made or part of the 2nd kit?
ALSO anyone w/a Hank Roberts will be asking
can you help us by pointing WHERE to look for that 2nd adapter kit?
    thx

    Greetings, Gentlemen and Ladies,

Check these two links for a very nice, and very workable DIY Hank Roberts conversion. Ian and Chuck both wrote this procedure up, and after you read what they both had to say, you can easily accomplish this task, and get your Hank Roberts stoves and lanterns up and running again!!

Hope that helps, and God Bless!

They were both on that evil auction site. The second one is a "bsr1 multi use fuel adapter" . The first one was a no name. The hoses have different seals to the the adapters, but are still inter-changable.

After cutting the nipple, drill it out. First w/ a 1/16 bit then 1/8. Slip the hr nipple into the drilled kit nipple and solder. Don't forget to check for leaks before firing up your completed conversion.

OMC, the second link in doc's post is how i did my conversion.

    thank you that was great.
    if anyone's looking, it's there
brs 1 (not bsr1) and use *seller spelling of adaptor. So search
    brs 1 multi-use gas adaptor
    to get there.
    *china seller bluemoon200510.

I have to dig out the last kit I bought and look it over again to compare, (what was delivered was not what pic in ad showed). Then I think I will end up buying this kit.
Seller has quite a bit of outdoor sports items including SS kettles I've not seen before, stoves and adapters... may be worth a look fellow stovies. thx again.
