I’m pretty stoked that I was able to find this one. It’s not a safe queen but it has its character. All is needed is to wait for it to journey it’s way from Estonia to Canada.

I understand that these were issued to the Swedish military in the 70s. Every model I see all have the same military codes...Does anyone have info as to what they signify? I’ve seen some with the first and second line of codes only.

Mine have the washer on the fuel cap to secure the chain, thinking you are just getting a military case which is still cool.

    Congrats Nico,
I don't think i can justify another 111 but I'm jealous, it's one I'd like to have, very nice!
Thank you for posting your score and my thanks to kerophile as well.
Once in hand we'll want to know if it has embossed "No.111" on lid (or foil sticker). Unless you know already?
If it has embossed No.111 it appears it would be what Stejar refers to as Military type 1.

re your: "I understand that these were issued to the Swedish military in the 70s."
With link, you know beyond that now but yours may be 70s  .

"Every model I see all have the same military codes...Does anyone have info as to what they signify? I’ve seen some with the first and second line of codes only."

Unless I missed it, the link shows only roarer burners (which could make this easier).
Stejar does not dive deeper, specifically into the good question you ask re "...military codes... what they signify?" My impression he does tell us what the name signifies:
    FOTOGENKÖK 1-LAGIGT (Kerosene stove 1-flame)
BENSINKÖK 1-LÅGIGT (Petrol Stove 1-flame) [google translate is a fail, again, btw ]

Details re the codes (M2824-214011, FIV-F1402-600320) are less clear.

There is one *image in link, the label matches yours:
    M2824-214011
    FOTOGENKÖK 1-LAGIGT
    FIV-F1402-600320

Link includes codes in text & images and they do differ:
    FOTOGENKÖK 1-LÅGIGT (Kerosene stove 1-flame) M2824-214011-6 introduced in 1974
FOTOGENKÖK 1-LÅGIGT (Kerosene stove 1-flame) M2824-214010-8 introduced in 1982 and FOTOGENKÖK 1-LÅG MT (Kerosene stove 1-flame) M2824-214012-4 introduced in 1982 (or earlier for both – the database is a bit hazy on this point).
    FOTOGENKÖK 1-LÅGIGT M2824-214011 [from image]
    *M2824-214011 FOTOGENKÖK 1-LAGIGT FIV-F1402-600320 [from image]
BENSINKÖK 1-LÅGIGT (Petrol Stove 1-flame) M2824-222010-8, introduced not later than 1982.
    [x-ref.: FOTOGENKOK 1-LAGIGT ]

...not sure what all ^^^^ that means. I patiently await it's arrival and will follow along with follow up from yourself and others.

I don't know what you mean by washer fuel cap but if you look at pictures of the 111 military you will see that this one is all original including the burner screws to secure the burner windshield which was only available on this model. So NO it's not just a military box with and added buner.

    Cheers!

    @OMC

Thanks for taking the time to post all that info, I appreciate it. It’s definitely a type-2 from what I can see it has the non embossed case:

Just thinking that yours is a younger model with the fuel cap, chain and label on the case lid. Sorry for misleading you.

Wow! Thats a beauty! Yes exactly, yours is a Type-1 with the older fuel caps. I really like when they look used and not NOS. Man am I exited to get mine! :D/

    Cheers!

Never researched these so no idea of a Type2 version. Another stove is always nice, the waiting is terrible. I'm waiting for seven. Is it here yet? :)

    The 111 Military has landed.
I verified seals and fired it up earlier. It was dark outside so I’ll post better one as well as a flame shot tomorrow.

I really like the distressed look it has but there’s paint flaking off in some areas just by passing my finger on it. Any suggestions on how I can stabilize this would be appreciated.

Stabilization in situ is difficult, as the flaking paint is generally caused by rusting metal underneath. My suggestion is to first find a fairly large area with no flaking, and obtain a paint color that's as close as possible to the original (supposing you want it that color). Then go over the painted surface with a soft wire brush to remove the loose paint and rust flakes. After that, you will need to completely remove or "kill" (with phosphoric acid or such) the rust. Then repaint and cure. There are many threads on this forum that describe the various processes. Best wishes with your restoration.
