Found this old NORMA 26 - from what I can dig out, it is from around 1935-ish.

At this time I have only cleaned the tank and the burner (including a new internal "wick" in the feeding tube). I might polish the brass a bit in order to let it reset a new glow - but I will leave the black parts as is. The windshield is a nice addition for a camping Alco-stove to be used under open skies.
The stove is amazingly lightweight and it runs nice and hot and can keep tight without leaking during transport - I have used it for a walk in the woods, and it works great with a percolator. Very easy to control the heat.
The key is similar to the old Juwel keys - and fits the Juwel 33-34-family fine.

The only other Norma 26 I can find - is its sibling in the ref. gallery? Guess there are not to many around?

An outstanding little alcohol burning stove gifted to me by the Real Viking, Harder Soerensen. Many thank U's Sir!!!
From what Harder found out it's supposed to be 1930's vintage, so I'll go with that. Super lightweight and very compact with the original tin but packs a pretty good punch for an alcohol burner. For all the stoves I have this one is right up near the top of my list of favorites. It will only be pried away from me from my cold dead hands. :)

That's a very nifty alcohol burner you have there. Nice and compact with no pumping required. Great find.
