Had some quality time in the man cave today.
On the program: unboxing one of the latest purchases, an Optimus 181M.
While unboxing, why not fire it up?
Everything whent so smooth, this stove is great for simmer, but also have the power for bigger pots. A very nice household stove.
The M in 181M standing for Frame japanned and tank polished brass.
    It cleaned up very nice.

Hi Tracer, very nice stove. Have been wanting to get one similar to that for quite some time actually but seems to be out of my arm's (and wallet's) reach :? Glad to see there are still kitchen stoves like them.

    it's a lovely stove you've got there.

however, given that it's not aluminium, hadn't you better give it to me ;)

    No problem!

    I'll bring it to Newark@2013 :D/

I swap everything for nice shiny aluminium!
    I'll give you a tip: Grumman G-129

My one and only experience in canoeing... Two weeks in the Q-S, with a Grumman 17 ft cargo canoe.
    It weighed 80 pounds, I weighed 135 (I know,I know, quite a while ago...), portages were a b*tch... :-({|=
Love to do It again, with porters and 'staff', doncha know! ;)
