This is the 1938 Primus 54 which came in my Primus 1153 Stove Shelter. The tank and pot legs got the full polish treatment. The trivet was derusted and painted with heat resistant paint. Great -- both this and the accompanying post on the shelter! I loved the fish eye lens effect off the bottom of the stove -- we get to see part of the shop where magic happens.

Hi Gary I love these stove shelters/tins. I was lucky enough to meet a neighbour, a few streets away, whose house was literally full of all things Parafin, and he had some beautiful stove shelters. I asked if he wanted to sell any, unfortunately he said no, but over a period of weeks I was able to walk away with a substabtial number of stoves from him. Take care Ian
