Primus 80 stove. Similar to the primus 77 Date ac6 1938 I have not seen one of these before, rare? Fueled by petrol Saved from the scrap heap by classic camp stoves member, and lucky owner, Milsom
I'd say rare - think I've only seen one other . If you're going to find them NZ or Australia are going to be the places as the related 77 & 76 seem to crop up there. I also got a batch of spares from NZ
nice find The tank and starter are the same as my 77 apart from the nickle plate. The burners are far more conventional though.
That's the kind of suitcase I'm looking for!!! Very cool! That fuel tank looks really sweet. Milsom is a lucky owner. Were there any flame shots?? Thanks, sam
Hello, Interesting way the fuel lines bend around. Nice looking example. Thanks for posting the pics. Not that I need a reason to buy another stove ! Chuck
Wonderful stove!!! I have a 77 but no case. Wish I could find these stoves at those centers. Cheers, Jeff
Yep it sure is nice, I am not sure if it has been fettled and fired yet. It is in good hands and will no doubt be fired up at some stage.
Here is the fire... enjoy. Apparently the stove did not take too much at all to get it up and running. Dan
