Hi all, considering getting an "Primus Omnilite Ti" for backpacking I like the multi-fuel versatility and weight. any one have experience with it?
I have not tried one but have read reports of it not having enough mass to vapourise kerosene. The new nova or whisperlite univerasal might be better options
There is a discussion of the Whisperlite Universal on kero ..... HERE. It comes with photos, too. Ken in NC
My vote is for you to get the Whisperlite Universal or the new Primus Omnifuel II The omnilite can't do kerosene. Cheers, Jeff
Hi, I also bought the Omnilight for its multifuel feature. Unfortunately, it performs poorly with kerosene which is commonly available from fuel stations. But for naptha or coleman fuel, it performs well. EdF
giving up on buying a new stove prices are high including shipping as I currently need it for day hikes I will just stick with what I have and added a $5 gassie from ebay
