After cleaning my Meva no.1 stove, I have noticed that the riser tube is heavily pitted just under the spirit cup. Can anyone tell me: 1) what causes such heavy pitting? 2) if the riser tube of a fixed leg stove can be screwed off? 3) how can I solve this problem? Thanks.
