Picked this up at a car boot sale (and nearly put my back out). It is a Safety Stove and is in a fetching shade of battleship grey and rust with the bright orange tank. The catalogue (catalog[usa]) states the colour (color) should be russet green and it cost considerably more than the 28/6, £1:42.5p. $2.00. Does anyone know if grey was an original paint choice or should it be green? I believe it is from the thirties, can anyone confirm this? Thanks Ray
Excellent project and solid user, I'd say. The orange tank sets off the brass nicely and makes me think the case should be a nice foresty green if you are trad, or army camo if you aren't.

Yup it's a total piece of junk best left out near the bin. Mind now i want it left near my bin sooooos i can craftly snatch it up and put it to some good use. What a find. Good on ya lad. Shape it up and show us it working. lance
