Success! I have been playing with my stove again and have been slowly raising the spreader/burner plate. It seems to be running really well with a much nicer colour to the flame now, although I am inside so the stove has been able to get a bit hotter. I'm happy now! Hi. I'm an English man lost in scotland! I have had the stove out on the hill again and it performed really well and didn't soot my pot up at all this time, so i'm really happy with it now.
