Whenever I visit my kid in Maine, I hit up some of the antique and thrift stores. I made some scores. L to R: Vulcan Safety Chef, Jim Dandy blowtorch, and a Trangia cookset. I think the Trangia is a 25. If I'm wrong, let me know. The kettle is missing the lid. Not too sure about the triangular grate. A better pic of the blowtorch. I have to wait until I get back to Illannoy to play with them.
Nice haul! The level of patina on the triangular thingy suggests it goes with the vulcan, to me. Maybe a trivet/simmer plate? Or used as something to put the stove on to protect the surface underneath? Added bonus with the triangular shape being easy to level on uneven surfaces?
Great score, love those Trangia cook sets. Puts a whole new meaning to outdoor cooking, very quiet and relaxing experience.
@pysen78 The trivet came with the Trangia and just looks out of place. That said, I think it would work well with my Trangia T28. I've had that one slide off of an icy picnic table while in use.
The Triangle is set on each of the folding pot arms in the down position, so something small like a Moka espresso unit can sit inside the 25's windscreen.

We got back Illannoy last night and it looks like 10" of white stuff fell while we were away with another 3 to 6 predicted for today. I have some digging out to do because I didn't bring the snowshoes and skis down from the garage attic before we left.
I shouldn't be on my Chromebook without my glasses. Sorry about that. That does seem what the trivet was for. I did get the Jim Dandy Blowtorch to kind of work. I need to scrounge up some literature on this little beast. I didn't mess with the Vulcan other than to prove my spare Trangia burner won't fit. Close, but no cigar.
Trangia use to sell a triangular rack made of welded 1/8'' stainless tubing with a hollow 1/16'' interior for rapid cooling, once off the heat. The long ends reached the T25 tabs, and the wide sides would fit in the T27. Here, I'm playing with it to see if it's useful with a Sigg lower and Trangia alcohol burner. Sort of, but you need to wire the corners and then you can't get to the burner to put a flame dampener on it or snuff it out.
I managed to get a better burn on the Jim Dandy blow torch today. It's a weird little booger. Two separate alcohol reservoirs, one for the wick and one for the torch. From what little I have learned is that they were favored by jewelers and folks building radios from kits in rural areas. Very quiet and quick to light once you get it figured out.
I've bought that pan stand from Amazon and the newer ones are a smaller diameter than previous models. Currently going for $22.

Jeez, I forgot this is a UK based site. I had the same issue with another UK site, though I could do a work around there. It appears that I can't do the same here.
Those little alcohol torches don't get very hot, but they might be useful for something. I remember one in my dad's shop that fascinated me when I was young. I used to play with it -- when I knew I would not get caught. He eventually junked it because he decided it was useless, and he had a thing about tools having to be of good quality.
@itchy Yeah, I noticed that it's not much of a flame. My Lenk alky blowtorch will run circles around it while making a lot of noise. Still, it's an interesting little torch. You had that kind of Dad? Mine bought cheap or good stuff used. Either way, I had to hold the flashlight. IYKYK.
@snwcmpr Tried that 3 or 4 different ways and kept coming with an Error reply. Gave up and took the dog for his walk.
