Military package. I'll leave it alone as long as I can!

I've just devised a way of making money on ebay. It involves a cardoard box, some tape, a half brick, and a marker pen...

CONGRATS ho-ho-holy crap!! <-- not appropriate for reference thread sorry but WOW.
reminds me of another (still sealed in box) 111 Christmas came early this year-help!
I can attempt an appropriate reference question:
Given your best guess is this Swedish Military? or do you have a guess?

cc: @Christer Carlsson, Swedish military yes/no? any idea(s)?

edit @Branny75 it is my comment that, imo, was not appropriate for reference thread.
Your posting this... YES absolutely, this is a rare amazing ref. entry. It made my week, thank you.

@OMC that box with hand written Primus on top is a good example of the paradox of quantum superposition:)

It’s at the same time a Primus and Optimus 111… so by opening the box one stove will be lost forever :)

Are the army versions all Optimus branded or also Primus?

@Blackdog you are a genius and theorized the eBay quantum paradox. How a buyer can prove that inside the box there was an half brick and not a stove?

Better to take a video of the unboxing in these situations :)

@Nicola Francesco Elia No I don't think so. But myself being an Army veteran I can totally understand though, sorting stacking boxes with soldiers, A lot easier if a common writing was done on all "cooking" related items for organizing etc. That said, it could just as easily been added somewhere along it's journey by someone for whatever reason. .

@Branny75 yes, for me it’s an Optimus 111… someone wrote Primus on it just to let know that the box contained a stove … the 111 stamp on the side is not really evocative for many people… while “a Primus” is clearly a stove for the most.

Yes, 'Primus', here in the Netherlands is synonymous for a small, single burner, camping stove.
Even 'Action camping stoves' are named Primus! Oh well, the hardships of if a stovie

So, something marked as 'Primus' might just be a cooking appliance...
May be 111 stands for a pot size? And not a stove at all! Oh, the horror

:lol: I love the humour here!

A boroscope may provide an answer if a small hole was made... although that depends on the level of packaging inside the box.

@Branny75 Sorry, I couldn't resist! Great find though, you've been showing us all some impressive stuff lately!

@Blackdog well that's because I'm getting out of one hobby and starting another. I was an avid tobacco pipe collector for a long while. Selling most of my pipe collection and stored expensive pipe tobacco. Healthier and yeah I don't have to listen to the nagging..

@ajvuik makes sense, here in Sweden I sometimes here "Primus" used in a generic way too.

You guys are not helping me fight the urge! [-X

@ajvuik funny thing is she'd go ballistic if I came inside smelling like a freshly smoked pipe but doesn't seem to mind now if I come in smelling like a kerosene stove. ;)

Half a brick has a much better chance of passing thru Royal Mail unscathed. Well, unless the EBay seller drizzles some paraffin [kerosene] inside the packaging as a taunt.

You could always get the box X-rayed. Should be possible to see the burner from the side and determine what type of 111.
