    Got this off Flea-Bay.

Changed the tank cap washer, oiled the leather piston washer, replaced fibre washer with a copper sump plug washer and used some slimmed down 5mm nitrile o ring cord for nrv seal.

Gave it a Tcut/ nylon pad polish (lacquering was terrible). Also Tcut the tin to get the grime off.
And here it is flaming away!!

The green wind shield is pretty cool. The tin is in great shape and content looks awesome!

    By the way, nice flame!

Seems in better shape than when it left the factory! Great job!

Valor's only camping stove (to my knowledge) is well made and stately, not for the backpacker as the lovely 50's illustration on the tin subtly suggests. And the roarer head sported that ingenious central screw that to me is a typical british touch of engineering. Nice set that you will enjoy a long time!

    Thank you very much guys.
It was a quick easy enjoyable fettle.
The only real problem was the reduced diameter of the NRV pip.
I don't think I'd want anything bigger than this stove though. Its reaally fierce in the heat department!!
