This one came to us by ways of a yard sale, like a lot of stoves our way. It's barely been used, and the pics are taken on our beast-stove P-W 4523. This little guy cost us a fortune, a fortune of 300.....pennies! Yup, three bucks....we got a 111B in storage just as nice for four dollars at a yard sale. So odd to find those little guys here, and in such shape too!
Nice VooDuu!, greeat stoves, you have been busy... I also found one (8r) at an estate sale, the guy had it on a shelf and not part of the sale, I asked him how much and he said, oh how bout 3.50. Some day I'll have to post it in the forum.
Nice to see a good Swede so cheaply! Garage/car boot sales have to be the way foward, prices on ebay get more rediculous every day!
Awesome finds! I find that many people over look these stoves because they think that all old things are bad. The MSR stoves are seen being the camp stove of today's camper. Thanks MSR! Cheers, Jeffrey
and a pump no less --some very fine buys. do you think you might be in good "old stove" country because of all the mountaineering and such out your way..? as i have said here before the Classics are thin on the ground in Minnesota because we are "axe and saw" fire builders--
I think you area low down thief and you should be ashamed of your yourself !! Very nice looking 8r there. don't have one meself .. (perhaps I don't know what I'm missing but I prefer the 123 .... even with it's fiddly key arrangement ... perhaps I'm mad )
Yeah, stoves definitely abound here, but most all are Colemans and not many are collect-worth, but almost all of them always work; good ol coleman. Tons of logging, tons of camping and tons of hunting do make for some interesting finds here and there.
