hi Brian mine get used indoors as i can't help playing with them i'm a bit of a sad act like that but only one of them pongs the rest are fine yes you do get a bit of a smell same as any stove running on kero but the rogue one doesn't just smell a bit it reeks the house out. Bruce had the same trouble with one of his it ended up getting sent back to the seller and was replaced the new one didn't smell as i recall
M jet = multifuel (kero + ???) G jet = gasoline/petrol A jet = alcohol but perhaps I'm mixing it up with the jets for the Cobra burner ... ... bloody Moltepulciano d"Abruzzo!
Those are the same jet letter the 111T uses but the 111T doesn't come with the G jet. The M jet handles the kero and petrol. according to Zen backpacking stove site. http://zenstoves.net/Supplies-Holes.htm The A jet is 0.51mm 0.020" The M jet is 0.30mm 0.012" The G jet is 0.38mm 0.015" What is the size of the kero jet. I think it is larger than the M jet. not by much 0.32mm maybe ???
I think if this batch needed a different jet the label would have made mention of it. I've only run mine on kero & it worked very nicely after changing the filler cap washer & nrv pip for the older style pip in brass holder. The pump O-ring needed a spot of lube & will be swapped out for an old style leather pump bucket.
i took a pic from my 111t instructions this might be of use you can use meths on the standard jet but output will be down this is from the instructions from my boxed 111t but the lighting instructions should read when prime burns out open valve and apply lit match above silent burner
Can we confirm that the pump is the newer O ring type? Having seen the almost pristine condition of the 2 stoves posted so far, it begs the question why the seller used the photo they did on eBay? However, in the end, who cares? The stoves look great!

Hi Knight, When I bought my Nomad (uses the Nova burner) I had an email conversation with the guy who had them built. Given that any single jet multifuel stove is going to have a compromise somewhere I wanted to find out if the Nova was optimised for one fuel over another. He said the Nova was geared for kero.....
Thanks Graham. I found out that the Nova has a 0.32mm size jet. Your right it is more geared towards kero. My thinking was that you can get a lot more performance out of a 111T if you change your jet. But it was just a thought. Thanks again. Jeff
Brian, What condition is the gauze roll in? Might need a cleaning, as it plays an important role in vapourising the fuel.
Hi Spudz, the whole stove was nearly new when i got it, & i have not used it much. One thing i notice is that the legs dont give much distance between the burner & pot, much less than my 210. My theory has been that this cools the flame & stops complete combustion. This is only a theory, i dont really know. Brian.
Hi My two from the B-I-N deal arrived less than an hour ago. This is record time for UK stove purchases for me as most of mine seem to be diverted to surface. First off, let me extend a hearty THANK YOU to Bill for tipping off all participants to this remarkable sale. Bill, in spite of my cranky-pants concern that it might possibly be a dodgy deal in an earlier post, I'd like now to express both my apologies for doubting and my joy at what I have received through this deal. You have quite handily proved Mom wrong for the first time since my birth - if it sounds too good to be true, it sometimes really IS that good! Thanks, Bill! Here are some pictures of my two. Both have the o-ring pump. Both have undented tanks. The mil green one seems to have had a brand new burner, spirit cup and pot rests. Both seemed to have a residue of gasoline, not "Coleman fuel". It's a distinctly different odor. They started up with the kero I supplied first go. The mil green one had a spindle leak which I corrected on the fly with a quick turn of a spanner - no further issues. Both stove cases started out the same color of pale blue I associate with the 111T, and I suspect that is what both stoves were when new, the mil green one painted that color subsequently. The windshields seem to be of much thicker brass than that on my one and only 111T before now - I like this heavy stuff. Even with the shipping this was a great deal for me. 8) Good luck to anyone who is still awaiting their stoves arrival. I sincerely hope that you will be as pleased as I am. Doing the "happy dance"! Hi Gary, nice pair you have there. Your nice blue flame is spot on. I noticed with the one I lit it had a yellow flame on one side of the blue flame. I ran it for about half an hour adjusting the control knob every now and again but no joy. Could it be a residue of old fuel left in the tank. I used good new clean paraffin in the stove. Maybe it needs running longer to flush through.
Hi Den Funny, I said the same thing to my lovely spouse just this morning. If I've understood you correctly, you're saying that there is yellowness to the flame on one side of the cap. (?) I really have limited experience with the 111's as until this morning I only had the one. But, I have had that phenomena you describe crop up on some of my three-legged brassies. I've usually found that either my outer cap is not centered in the burner or there are deposits of carbon or other crud on either or both of the caps. A light brushing with a brass-bristled brush on the caps and the inside of the spigot tube seems to resolve it most of the time. Rust on the outer cap can make that happen in my experience as well. Very fine steel wool, 0000, has worked well to clean that off and improve the burn. You could try gently turning your outer cap whilst burning with a pair of pliers to see if the yellow moves with the cap before trying any remedies. Try not to lift the cap while doing this or it will flash into underburn and you'll have to shut down and relight. If none of that works for you then I confess I'm at a loss. Hopefully someone with more fettling skill can tell us both how to resolve it as I do have one stubborn rascal of a stove that doesn't respond to this treatment. Best of luck and good wishes Gary
