Perhaps someone could enlighten me....then again I could try it out myself. I once read somewhere that you can remove dings on sheet metal (the example was on the car body) by gently rubbing dry ice over it. Would it work on brass tanks...to take out the dings? Might be a great way to take out those larger dents. Myth or true?
No idea but I suspect a musical instrument repair shop has fixed dented brass horns and might enlighten you.
Hi Ron, check out plenty of dent-removal videos on Youtube. Rapid cooling of dents, with a cold-spray or solid carbon dioxide, can sometimes remove dents from car bodies. However if it was a useful technique all the other dent-pulling methods would have been long-gone. Best Regards, Kerophile.
