Hi all: Now that I have gathered all the bits. Here is my 1920 (approx.) American Stove Co. Vesuvius 100 made in U.S.A. The company was first named Quick Meal in the 1880's and later became the Magic Chief Co. The roar flame spreader is a Pertomax and the silent burner is a Primus 100 burner from Base Camp, both have been modified to resemble the original parts. The first three flame pictures are using the silent burner, the last two the flame spreader/ roar. It boils faster in roar mode. Mike... Thanks all for your help.

Beautifull trivit. Loverly stove. Hummmm, i rather imagine these are thin on the ground so perhaps i'll settle for a Swede. Saddle on over here sweet Ingrid lance Yes sir i know my hat and coat are in the hall. Thank you, i'd be pleased to see myself out. lp
Hi All, Mike that's really incredible work . From our talks you had alot of work to do on the vapo tube and looks like you did a perfect job. The flame is very nice and quite uniform For your first foray into the kero world, I'd say it's quite impressive That trivet is so nice - and aren't those silencers the cat's meow ? Well enjoy your new find and again super job on a great looking stove Tom
