Had this one lying around for a long time so today it was past time to fettle it & fire it up! This one was missing it's unique flame spreader so I fashioned one by grinding off the arms of a '100' type flame spreader. It worked pretty well. The pump is easy to work on as the whole assembly is removable. It uses a wider pump tube & as a result a wider 'non-standard' leather bucket. The pump seals to the tank with a fibre washer with a thin lead washer behind. I have a spare pump (don't know where it came from as I only ever had one of these!) if anyone wants to swap for an original flame spreader.
Ross what is the inside diameter of the pump tube? I'm thinking a Coleman leather might fit proper. lance
Fantastic stove ross, first rate fettle. I've got an 6b silent near as i can tell. Minus one leg and of course the burner cap. One day I'll get around to fettlin' er up. I would dearly love to get a look and a silent cap. If anyone out there has one, post a pic pretty please.
