Although I've heard mention of the GSI Glacier stainless nalgene bottle cup fitting the 123 I haven't seen a pic of how it looks or fits, so for those interested here it is. It's cheap (mine was about $12 shipped) and is 18 oz. so you can actual use it. Also offers additional protection to the windscreen.

yep, the GSI cup fits nicely

(you can generally find them locally at Sports Authority - IIRC, $9.99 down here + 7% sales tax)

Well done on the photo! It really shows off the stove and the cup.

Interesting. I have the Olicamp Space Saver cup which fits over the end of a Nalgene 1L bottle, but my Olicamp cup only slides down to the first ridge on my Svea 123.

How tightly does the GSI cup fit over the bottom of one of the clear colored Nalgene bottles? My Olicamp cup fits pretty darn snugly.

I don't have any nalgene bottles so I wouldn't know. The GSI cup fits the 123 with the same 'snugness' as the original cup does. It does not rattle around at all.

The GSI cup will fit over the nalgene bottle very well. It must be slightly bigger than oil camps

    Hi, Jeff,

Yes, that's what I'm guessing (that the Olicamp cup is slightly smaller in diameter than the GSI cup). If Scott had a Nalgene bottle, that would be a quick way to test my hypothesis.

I might just drop by Sport Chalet in the next few days and see for myself.

I just tested it for ya with my bottle. I do like the oilcamp with the measurements on the side. But the GSI works very well with the svea and nalgene

    Thanks, Jeff,

So, the Olicamp cup is definitely smaller in diameter than the GSI cup?

I do like the measurements on the side. Aren't the measurements all in English units? Still, very nice to have measurements.

I want to say yes Jim but I can't seem to find my GSI cup. The measurements are in ounces which most Canadians use anyway.
The GSI cup is 18 oz and the oli is 16oz

A 123 and GSI cup stay in my field pack. It gets used more than any of my other stoves.

I found my gsi cup while looking for something else of course.

The olicamp cup is a millimeter smaller in diameter than the gsi cup. The olicamp is a little taller though. They both hold about the same about of liquid. (18oz approx.)
