New to this and cheap to so heres my take at a cutter for NRV lead gaskets. Works with PE as well. A 16mm steel bar bored through with 5mm for extraction of the inner cutter. Bored 11mm for the outer diameter of the gasket. Then chamfered to cut. The inner cutter is made 8mm outside and bored 3mm through so the surplus lead can be remowed. Chamfered on the inside to cut. Heres the finished gaskets with a perfect fit And PE too
I just made leadgaskets for NRV's to last me 2-3 lifetimes and while doing that and sipping a beer i had a brainfart! How about a chain-mail (No! no knights here). He who needs it will post here and pay for shipping. When he's done the next guy in line pays for shipping and so forth? Is this a daft idea? PS. My bad some have got the idea that the tools was for free, i thought we was talking the gaskets!!!
Give me the measurements!!! Else im in the dark mate. You all know the drill by now! Drawings/photos and exact measurements, without them i cant work unless i have the actual parts in my hand.

A couple have showed interest in PM's, so here's the deal: I ship the punches to Ianevitt and he can churn out as many gaskets as he'll need for a lifetime or two. In a week or so He'll ship to Spiritburner who in turn will ship to Berniedawg. Then the list gets thin. If there's no "problems" with that i'll put the plan in motion tomorrow.
Heya Henrik and crew, I'm in! I have lead sheet that I got from a fishing supply house in Portland, Oregon. They got it from a medical x-ray lab that was renovating old gear. They were selling it in 5# amounts in large ziplock bags. I reckon the idea was to melt it down to make fishing weights and sinkers. This was quite some time ago and I don't know if they still have it, or, if they ship. Doc et. all. My take on this is that the more favors i do for others the more favors i can pull when i need sonething or some help. Life's to short to measure everything in cents and grains. When i have made gaskets to last me a lifetime what good is the punches doing in my drawer?

Its just like that film "Pay it forward" made me cry ..No, not the film, the remote batteries were dead i was pressing the buttons on the remote but nothing !! that anoying kid was still there on the TV. i had to prise myself off from the sofa and do it directly from the telly :o
