    Hi Stu,
Welcome to CCS. Your stove looks superb! What work have you done to it? Did you restore it to its current condition? I have a few AGM's and would like to ad a #3 sometime :) . Any additional details or pictures would be appreciated. Thanks again for sharing.

Thanks for the welcome Dan. I've been lurking here for some time, but after a conversation today with my old friend Mike (aka Fliver)...he convinced me to start posting.

I received this particular stove in great physical condition but badly in need of some cosmetic help.

Basic strip to bare metal and refinish. I used what I call "Packard Service Green". This is the engine color used on many postwar Packard & Studebaker flat heads. I think the official name is "Bell System Gray Green".

Applied decals provided by Bill at Gas Pressure Appliance and called it done.
    Stove runs nice.

I have a few of these 2 burner KampKooks and they are sort of my stove-of-choice. Don't know why, I guess I must admire their simplicity.

Currently refurbing a Pentiss Wabers Auto Camp Cook Kit and will post pics when done.

    ...Steve

Nicely executed! Can't wait to see your PW build up as I too am a Prentiss-Wabers fan. Actually, I think I only have PW's and AGM's.....Are you planning on taking pics of the process of restoration of the PW? If so, maybe you could put together a thread of the resto??? (and of this one too if ya got'm) There's many people on here who could benifit from seeing how others do this....and maybe try it themselves too!

I don't currently have any more stove projects on the workbench (doing a couple of ancient televisions though).

I will document the next stove resurrection I undertake though. Promise :^o

    Steve,

Please post pictures of your Auto Camp Cook Kit when done. I recently acquired one and would like to see yours.
