Optimus 8R

    I hope painting it red is not some type of sacrilege. I used red engine paint because it stands up the fuel and grease. I also thought it looked good with the brass.

    looks nice. Wasnt there a series of these that came from the factory in different colours for some anniversary?

    Nice one mark even though i like to see a repaint that is as close as possible to the original i realy do like the colour it real goes well with the brass and the control knob and you have done a first class job with the paint.
    In fact i like that colour so much i wish optimus had used that colour on some of their 8r/s and 111s i forgot to mention a greatidea using engine paint that will resist fuel spillige well done there :clap: :clap:

    Looks great. Nice way to brighten up what I'm guessing was not a pretty paint job.
