Primus 1153 Stove Shelter - circa 1938(?)

Here is the Primus 1153 Stove Shelter. It came with a 1938 Primus 54 inside it, so I'd guess that it could possibly be from the same year or thereabouts. The stove can be found here:

I love it! It is very cool!

 

I'm surprised it has no vent holes near the top. What happens if one puts a pot on that completely blocks the air flow at the top?

Nice one! Have one also at home, but it is not near as good looking as yours, has some marks of rust and is painted in an orange colour. When I found mine it had a Primus No: 5 S:or in it.
