ultrasonic cleaner

    hi fellow stovies the ultrasonic cleaner from aldies is brill,cleaning up my burners no problem,downside is theres only a 3 minute cycle but who cares if it does the job,im on my third burner,the way im cleaning them is to cut a lemon in half and squese the juice out them,half a lemon for each burner,also its cleaning the inside of my burners too, :lol:

    sorry my digital camera is on the blink,but ill tell you this they, went in black and after an hour cleaning there clean and brassy looking one of them has a tinge of copper maybee put to much lemon juice in water.ive buffed on up with a brass cleaner and it looks gr8t,wonder if i could try putting a diffrent solution in ultrasonic cleaner maybee clean them quicker,but the damed thing works great ive even done my wifes jewellery and watches in it wow!! wot a diffrence

    I just passed one up at work that they were throwing out that was big enough to put a couple entire 111's in... :cry:

    It was huge and weight about 100lbs! I turned it down not knowing how well it would work and the space it would occupy in my shop...

    Oh well, more room for dirty stoves I guess :roll:

    wow i wish i had a big one,my father inlaw used them years ago he said they will gr8t,saved a lot of work,he worked in a petrol chemical plant,and some pipes or something kept getting clogged up,and to save time takeing the pipe apart they attached a ultrasonic gadget to the pipe,they never needed to do any more maintance on it,lazy git!!! :lol:
