This is for rucksack. In one of your posts you mentioned DE Maritime as a possible source of Chinese stoves etc. Their prices look very good, but there's no information regarding shipping, and references to being a "quantity supplier". Do you know if they will sell and ship to individuals?

(I hope this is in the right place - I'm still coming to grips with the forum layout).

As far as I know, DE Maritime are wholesalers, which is why you cannot find details about shipping for individual buyers. There is an on-line store in Hong Kong, which you could have a look at. It's called Plus2City and their URL is www.plus2city.com. I don't know anything about them other than they exist and they sell Chinese stoves (and carry a rather large line-up). Some other members of the CCS forum have dealt with them, so if you search past posts, you should come up with some of their comments. I have never dealt with them, but as far as I can see, they are selling both Fire Maple and Bulin stoves, rebadging them with the prefixes 'OT' or 'TK'.

The bilingual Fire Maple web site lists all their stoves at:

    http://firemaple281152.2075.vh.cnolnic.com/myWeb/EN/Productseril.php?productTypeId=14&bigid=11

The Plus2City home page lists the following contact details:

    Hotline telephone number: +852 9388 0672

    E-mail: contact@plus2city.com

    Yahoo Messenger: plus2justin

    MSN: justinyanghk@hotmail.com

    Skype: plus2justin

    Take your pick!

Hope this helps, or at least is a start, if you are interested in Chinese stoves.

Thanks rucksack, I appreciate your taking the time to provide the info. I'll have a look at the site you've given. I know that there will be such places in HK/China, but it's not always easy finding them via the 'net. I've bought quite a few items out of HK via the 'net and had no problems (so far!).

    Cheers,
    Dik.

Damn! What a site, wish I'd known about it before. They have what appears to be a Kovea, at a very good price. I'll contact them about shipping costs, but it looks like I might be be buying yet another stove :-k .

It's a Bulin-made MSR-XGK EX lookalike, that they call a BL-100-T3; (you can see part of the Bulin name and logo on the fuel bottle in the photo). DE Maritiome rebadge them as a DES-100-T3. Plus2City in Hong Kong sell them as an OT-T3. They are made by Bulin in Zhejiang Province.

Damn! I've just ordered a TK800+ extras from Plus2city - and I haven't even recieved the first one I bought yet! It's all the fault of this CCS site.

I'm a bit annoyed with them, however. As they have a "best offer" thing, I thought I'd offer just a few $ less, not very much, but see what happens. Well, the counter offer came back as the original price. I don't believe they should have such an option if they simply intend to ignore it. I'll wait until I have the goods and and then e-mail them with my thoughts and let them know that it may influence my feedback.
