Yep, I'm in - looks like the weather's going to be the same as last year, too.

I'd suggest anyone planning to attend bring at least one Bialaddin Bowl Fire, or, in fact, ANYTHING that's capable of emitting heat!

Why don't we go for a world-record BBF light-up!

Would we be able to stay overnight, as was possible last time?

    Hi
The date isn't fixed yet but it will be a Saturday and Sunday in January or February.
Same set up as last year turn up sometime Saturday and anyone who wants to overnight is welcome to stay for more stovie action on the Sunday.
World record BBF fire up could be on the cards.
    I'll bring mine.

You remember just how cold it was in there last year, Ian, so bring ANYTHING that will chuck out a decent amount of heat - Tilley, Bialaddin, Primus, Coleman, whatever you like - I'd rather be warm than proud!

Having said that, the weather's much warmer the last couple of days and the thaw's well under way - even in the wilds of Annfield Plain!

Travelling is likely to be much easier/possible so let's hope for a good turnout! :D/

Are we banqueting on hot-dogs again, Gary?

    Hi
David we can have gas heating on if I request the timer to be set but what would be the fun in that?
Chilli this year so we may have gas heating of a different sort.

It was pretty nippy to begin with but once a few stoves and BBFs were on the go it was ok. I'm not particularly bothered about having the ch on.

Aye, but it might get a bit parky in there overnight if anyone stays.

Still, it's gotta be better than Usha Gap in February at minus God-knows what...

Having said that, I'll need a lift to/from the train station, probably Chester-le-Street. Can anyone do that? [-o<
