That's correct. A Coleman, as you know, devised the simple up-down lever. In order to make this stove function like that AGM, whom i believe was the manufactourer of this stove, used the two manual valve system. lance
Gee, i seem to remember buying several of my stoves for this very reason, "Because i did not have one." Trouble is, now i have several and don't use but 1 or 5 at a time. lance
passed on a 425"C", has the red legs that wrap around ..... don't have a "C"... mayhap I'll go back.....
