Yes, I know they are idiot proof, fill with 24 oz. alchohol, light and leave it burn. But because of an unmarked container, me in a rush, I put at least 10 oz K1 Kleen strip along with 12 0z alchohol. My main questions are, will it burn off and while it is can I leave it in the shop. Also, did I permanently ruin the wick?

It will take time to dry up the wick unless you can take it apart and put it back. It will not destroy the wick if you realize it soon after you lighted it. Empty the tank, wash with a bit of alcohol too. Sun dry when possible away from flames.

Thanks Ron, but this is a sealed unit, no disassembly to speak of. The burner will just have to try and vaporize the kero slowly while burning on methanol. Right now it is into its second filling and may look slightly better. Not as much yellow but still smells. When I first put a match to it the flame looked like a candle so I knew I had screwed up.
