Went to a car boot sale on Satuday and got two interesting pieces of unused brass tube. Dimensions are 10" long, 2.5" OD, and 0.9mm wall thickness. Looks about right size for cylindrical tank construction/repair etc. Going to anyone who needs it for the price of postage only. PT me if you want it. Steve.

Sorry Henry, No but will always keep a lookout. If I see brass tube, plate or any such I always buy it as it will always come in handy one day. Steve.

    Thanks for that.
It's for my triple burner, the previous owner replaced two of the flame spreaders with S/S ones, it doesn't matter when it's going as they are cherry red but it would be nice to have brass ones.

Don't forget if your stuck for brass sheet the tube can always be used as such, cut off a piece, slice it down it's length and open it up.
    I've done this many times.
