    Hi guys,
    This is a new site for me, really cool. I had a freind give me a cool stove and I would like to display it with my old 20's era canoe at a boat show. It's a Kampkook No. 2524 and it's missing the tank. Anyone know where I can get a replacement? How about info. including age and company stuff? It's got a cast iron grill! Heavy little bugger!

    thanks in advance!
    Chris

    Hello Chris,

    Welcome to the CCS forums. I can't help you with your stove but there'll be someone who will have a better idea along by the by.

    Good morning Chris;
    about your stove there isn't much hope of finding a new tank for it unless you find another KampKook at a yard sale. They were made by a company in Albert Lea, MN known as AGM or American Gas and Machine. They went head to head against Coleman and well you know who won that battle. I beleave AGM went out of business about "56" or so. Keep your eyes open at garage sales and flea markets, etc..

    Check Ebay regularly. I bought an old KampKook stove that is of the same vintage as what your saying. It ran fine after I cleaned the generator out and put new gas in it.

    Various KampKook stoves have been listed before and no one seems to want them. It shouldn't be too hard for you to get one.
