I've bought quite a few things from this site, and while browsing came across this.
    www.dealextreme.com/p/brs-8-multi-functional-oil-gas-stove-90761

It looks the same as my TK800 (which is quite well made), and if I didn't already have one I'd probably get one of these. Looks pretty good value for $52, inc. shipping, with a (small) fuel bottle, pump etc.

I got one of these. Tried it on Butane and on white gas - it worked well on both.

Got one two or three years ago, works fine on gas, naptha and paraffin/kerosene.

Just curious to those who have purchased the item I would like to know about production quality control e.g. fittings are snug and tight.

I like how this stove, like a lot of stoves today, uses a 7/16ths UNEF threaded connector -- the same connector used on a standard threaded gas canister.

If MSR were smart, they'd start converting their liquid fueled stoves to the same threaded connector AND start selling an insert like the Bulin one so that old pumps could be used on new stoves. They'd be smarter still to sell an adapter that would allow an existing MSR stove to use a threaded gas canister.

I did not find any defects or non-professional workmanship on my stove. My only complaint is that connecting the hose to the pump requires you to turn the entire fuel bottle some 10 full turns, which is a bit awkward. There is a little orange knob that is supposed to turn the threaded connector only, but it feels "unsafe" to do it.

I had to pull my pump apart to remove plastic shavings. Apart from that it was good. I did not buy a stove but did get a fuel line which was crap. I did not buy the stove.

The pump is roughly finished in places but good quality where in matters.

I might buy a couple more of the fuel lines as the lindel valve connection on it works well. Good for making up fuel lines.

The orange plastic part on mine slipped the first time I used it. I still use it and it generally works well, it won't last forever but it is something you could make yourself, or a spanner fits in its place.

I was really after a alloy primus pump, one should turn up in the end but if I never find one, this pump should last well. Bargin price too.

I forgot to mention that they have a few other stoves too - mostly gas - but there is an all-in-one fuel stove. Just do a search for stove.

I did worry about the quality of the fuel line so purchased a spare but its never been needed. Mine is now setup in a Trangia 25.

Just to amend my above comments on the fuel line. I got a replacement fuel line from plus2city (s9 hose) and the quality has vastly improved. The fuel line is twice as thick as the previous one I got from them. I crimped it onto my nova with a oetiker clamp. Very happy with this fuel line.
