Flame ring appears to be stainless steel, should it be brass?

Hi, the flame ring should be brass and Base Camp still has them:

Your one, if SS is likely a later improvisation; perhaps a napkin ring?
    These are super stoves!
    Best Regards,

What size napkins do you have up in Scotland?

The ring has a diameter of approx 70MM 2 3/4 inches, I could get a bath towel in it.

    Thanks for the information,

    Ray
