So, somebody threw out this stove and I was like. Wow, it was made in the USA. So i took it home. It was pretty dirty but all in all in pretty darn good shape for the age. Few scratches but zero rust or dents. I would like to get it up and running as a 2nd cooker for when the family goes camping. I have just a few questions.

Whats a good way to check and clean the generator?
Where can I find any specs on this particular stove?
Are these purely a white gas/coleman fuel burner?

Also, did re-oil the pump leather as it was dried out, and it appears the tank holds pressure!

Any other info would be appreciated!

Great find and I am very glad you saved a classic stove!

Check out the instructions for your stove here. Link

These are fun stoves to work on and most if not all the parts are available.

    Cheers,
    Jeff

Well, it was in better shape than I imagined. I did have some build up in the orifice that i took some brake parts cleaner too. Cleaned her up really good, new fuel and fired her up. She sputtered for a bit upon first lighting, like she wasnt getting enough fuel. After a few minutes I had a pretty blue flame with a good bit of heat. Tested the second burner and it fired right up with no issues.

Its amazing what people throw out. This thing is going to outlast the propane we bought at the start of the season for sure. Thanks for the links and help getting this old relic back in working order!

    Good job!

The sputtering at start up might just be the normal warm-up. These great stoves have a lot more character and individual personality than the propane versions.
