I can't find much via google on this gas powered stove. Does anyone know about it? US Perfection Stove Co. - 1945
It's an early one of these: M2A Field Cooker Burner Really early. It's a field cooker for sure. I believe it is the Model M59 Field Unit. Edit: If that was 1500 miles closer to my house, I'd run right over and pick that up! sam
we want flame shots. But read everything on here about the M2A They have a wicked bite if not treated right. Anything containing 2 gallons of petrol under pressure that is exposed to flame can literally take your head off
Because it's complete that is not a bad price but i'd sure like it to be closer to me. Like within 50 miles or soooooo. lance
Thanks for the info. It sounds like a cool unit, but I'm going to pass on it. It is nearby, but I don't have a ton of cash to burn and might need to stick with the smaller units I guess. It's fascinating, and if he cut the price in half I'd have to grab it anyway.
The burner on these can be raised to the other shelves for using the griddle shown or 10 gallon pots with the ring support as well as baking. Mike
