Me thinks one is for high altitude use if there is a difference in hole diameter for the air to go through. I only have a standard one with me.

Otherwise, do a trial and error.

This restrictor confuson shall soon be greater.

The first restrictor made, partno: 5163 was told to be for alcohol. Later The "new" alcohol restrictor came, called 5213, and suddenly the 5163 was for gasoline. The jets has remained unchanged.

The way to do it: Test whats working best on your burner.

The T burner is made for kerosene, and possible to run on other fuels. most other "multifuel" is made for white gas, and may run on....

HD, I've got a Homestrand Mariner(205-32A) with Svea 1915 burners. It came to me set up for alcohol; after checking the seals, I filled it with fuel(alc.), and lit both burners; one burner had a beautiful blue flame while the other was yellow & orange. I shut it down, swapped the inner & outer burner caps, but the same burner was bad. After cool down, I was in the process of disassembling both burners to check the jets when I noticed a slight difference in the size of the holes in the restrictors. Both burners burned blue after I drilled/enlarged the holes in the small holed restrictor to match the other one.

I'll have to try the restrictor with the larger holes and go from there. If I remember right, my u-joint tool has issues fitting thru the burner tubes.

It might be moot, as it might not fit the 111 jet -- at least mine don't. Did your 111T come with the multi-tool knob thingy?

Hey you're right itchy, forgot about that, another reason I've never tried the alky jet, gave up quite a while back now that you mention it. No, just the normal wrench came with the stove and all I have with my other 111's, 8R's.
