I found this stove on a wholesale China export Web site. The image is poor, but it is a close repro of a Whisperlite. I never had a Whisperlite, but I have seen them around. I was surprised to see the clone, unless the stoves are being legitimately made in the P.R.C.
It sure looks like the Whisperlite Universal that hikin jim reviewed a short while ago. Since everything is made in China now, it is hard to tell the real thing from the copy.
This one is a little different in some subtle ways. First, the pump is like the older MSR pumps, not the current ones. Second, the legs are a little different. Third, the attachment for gas is not present. This looks like a clone of the Whisperlite Internationale but does not look like the new Whisperlite Universal.
