Very nice stoves. I have always liked the Enders stoves. Very high quality and good workmanship. Thank you for sharing your stoves with us.

I recently sold my Borde. Perhaps I should have held on to it. Sigh. So many stoves.

    @orsoorso
ciao ho visto tua domanda al trading post, oh sorry that the most doesn't understand , I've seen your search at the tranding post, but as i have too few posts i can't reply there, also i cannot send you a PM, i think because i'm not subscribed?, or perhaps I am only too stupid. At german evilbay, in the moment there are many Enders 9061 Army , but far too expensive , few 9061 D even more expensive, but lots of 9060D very cheap, some weeks ago i got two for 12,90€ in bad condition, that i didn't even made a photo of it when coming in, wanted to use them for spareparts. But after some brushing with an angelgrinder with brassbrush it loocked like this:

    1331153961-PICT1064.JPG

    1331154048-PICT0907.JPG

Some paintjob inbeetween the decal and it loocked like this:

    1331154131-PICT1063.JPG

Anotherone, it wasn't possible to save the decal:

    1331155300-PICT1066.JPG

    1331154245-PICT1065.JPG

I have nothing to give away from these, cause i bought it for frettling.
But 20-30 € for two can be possible.
What are you searching for? only the head

    1331154389-PICT1068.JPG

or also the pipe with the regulating and cleaning -spindel ?

    1331154482-PICT1069.JPG

If you don't want to buy something at german evilbay, what i can understand, i can do it for you and send it to you, ore bring it to Italy in may. If you can't come to near Ferrara, it is also possible to send it to you in may from italy, to have low shipping costs .
So "double bear" if i can help you, tell me, i would do it for free and it would be a pleasure for me. :content:

Hallo Ron as i said, i have nothing to give away in the moment. But if there is a need of Enders parts, i can look to get some more cheap Enders. I don't want to make a business of this. As i'm looking for some stoveparts for some projects it's no problem buying some Enders ,if i get them cheap, while loocking for the parts i need, and giving it away to CCS members for what i payed for. :content:
I think that's what a forum is for, helping each other.

    Hey Friedhelm
You have got a cracking collection there. Got much the same as you, other than the 9065.
No dreaming, one day I will have one.
I have got the roarer burner version from the US for a fraction of the price it sells for in Europe, even with shipping.

I picked these 2 beauties up from Germany, last year for pennies.
The one on the left has never been fired.

Well Ian it's cracy what is payed for the two burner version, in the moment there is one: 4days left , in the moment at 180 €, that will go way over 200 €.
Estonishing to me that you got one from the US much cheaper, cause here in Germany there must be much more of these i think.

oh well just have seen your post, after writing mine.
Nice these new 9061 Armystoves, i never had a new one, i'd like to, but too expencive. In the moment many of these new never fired once are on evilbay but 120€ and more, for me is not worth it having a new one, as the used once burn like the new ones.
I have been in the army in the 70ties and was responsible for the technical equipment, cars, bikes, for repaing everything, but i never have seen one of these stoves. In the 90ties you could find all the used 9061 at the market, they were thrown out of the army. Now it seems they throw out what they found in the magazines, new spares, when you see how many new ones appear now.

    Friedhelm,

At the moment I am bidding on BadBay.de for a couple of 9060D.
If I do not win the bid, I'll be glad to purchase a cople of silent burner heads, that is what I am looking for, just the heads, to keep silent my SWEA123R and Optimus 8R: my fellow campers and kayaker insist they do not like to be awaken at half past five in the morning by a jet figher taking off so close to their tent.
When around Pisa (well better a cople day before) let me know, if you could like a free Bike tourist guide.

    Ciao
    Michele

John ,I'm not a collector wasn't ment too serious and a bit provocating  . The first stoves , i bought because i never was contented with the stove i had , than i found these differnd Enders Stoves and others, so the collection started.
@ Orsoorso the couple of Enders 9060D went away for 32 € i think, did you get it ? I also had an eye on them.
By the way, they were from the same seller from which i got my two, some weeks ago.

If you are about to make the Svea 123R silent, you might have to make som modifications to the windscreen. The windscreen has a hole in the middle which is a bit to small for the Enders silent burner. Some how, you must make that hole bigger or you have to unscrew the burner head eachh time you take of the windscreen.

On the 8R, it fits like a glove, almost like it was made for it.

PC-15, what stove is your favourite by the way? Mine is the 9061, wich actually preffered over the 111T and the. Now I also am thinking about using a 9060 instead of my beloved 8R.

Okay let's go on with the story:

At the time i think when i had the Phoebus for use, there came up the stoves with an aluminium bottle as tank, first i saw people with MSR stoves carbonating their pots at the campsites, then there were the Sigg stoves that i never saw working well, after a while i tried a new Coleman Apex stove, cause i thought after some years the companies could handle this new technique. But they didn't . After one holiday carbonating my pots i came back to my Phoebus. I never liked that kind of stoves with their slappy aluminiumfoil windshields.

    1331338595-Coleman_Apex_1.JPG

So here is the Coleman Apex that had to be in the first part of my topic, cause i didn't buy it as collective item, it was on the search of getting the best stove for use for my purposes.
Now we come to part 3 of my gasoline stove story , the time today, that got me also to the CCS.

Some time ago, i think about two years, i posted pictures of my stoves in the german Guzzi-forum.
They were all amazed and wanted to have a Enders 9061. So some looked at evilbay for this stove. I had some problems with my Enders, the thread under the burner that holds the potsupport was going away, so the Kettleholder was slacking around, also the spindels had some problem slitting out in workingposition. After years of dirt it became worse, the cleanigspindel was torqued and it's a bit fragile, so it wasn't possible to to straighten it again. It always was a mess pushing the spindels out . As i had bought about 20 Enders 9061 i thought i had some spares but went mad when i saw that nothing was left, everything exept my stove went to Italy. Okay i also have to go to evilbay to get another stove for spares. There came the second shock. Once it bought 10 stoves for 50 mark, that means 25€, at evilbay you didn't get one for this price, why did i give it all away to italy ? :?
After a while i got one for 30€ in quite good condition, with that i repaired mine. While looking what value this stoves nowadays have, i wished to have again an Optimus Hiker, but the were way to expensive. So i forgot this idea. In january my girlfriend organized a „winterglowing“ for the local Guzziguys. A little winterparty with fire and grilling something, doing camping , who wanted ,at a little castle near Cologne. I made some Grog, that is tea with rum, to get it a bit faster done i first make it on the stove and when it's ready the pot is hanged over the fire. But the Enders needs some time with a pot of 15 liters on it . So again i was thinking about the Optimus 111 cause i had in mind that it has a bit more power than the Enders 9061. So i looked at evilbay again, but the hikers were far too expensive, for my oppinion, Hikers in bad condition went and go away over 80€ and in good conditions way over 100€ . no thank you. Some weeks ago i found a miletarydealer, that had some for about 70€ . I knew that you don't get the one he has on the photo, but i was , but i was sick looking for it and in the last minutes they go way over 100€. I thought to buy at a dealer is a minor risk, cause in Germany you have 14 days to return the item, if you don't like it, when you buy online. So i ordered the Hiker. As thought it was in a worse condition than on the photo, okay the box is a minor problem , some paintjob whould do it, the hinges weren't straight, but not broken.

    1331338959-PICT0869.JPG

    1331338984-PICT0866.JPG

    1331339005-PICT0868.JPG

The clip for the wrench, had been fallen off,and was lost. The stove hasn't the right spindelknob, it had the new spindelknob with the tool to unsrew the jet and tighten the spindelpacking. With this i could live, but when i saw the spindel, i didn't want it anymore. The dealer had a score of 98%, i thought that's quite good, now i looked at the details, and saw how stupid i had been not looking at the details before the deal. The dealer sold more than 6000 items, and in the last 6 months more than 50 bad scores and more than 60 neutral scores, all the Optimus he sold he got bad scores. Uargh. :rage:
What i was reading wasn't good, so i decided not to send the stove back, cause it could be possible that i didn't get the money back. It was secure that he never payes the shipping costs what he has too. So i decidet not to return the stove. :?
The Spindel was torqued, and when i disassembled the spindel of course the cone for regulating and shut down the stove had a very big step. So some work to do.

    1331339080-PICT0872.JPG

The flame wasn't good, accelerated it bluw out a third ore half of the flame.
i found a dealer which had the spareparts i needed ( hytta) and i found CCS.

    1331339595-PICT0897.JPG

    1331339626-PICT0898.JPG

After straiten the case the hinges all dents, making and welding in the clip for the wrech, grinding all a bit, i could paint it.

    1331339154-PICT0877.JPG

    1331339201-PICT0878.JPG

    1331339225-PICT0879.JPG

Before it was green, but i couldn't find an equal green, but i found a blue like my old hiker , so i painted it blue, hammered style colour.

    1331339266-PICT0886.JPG

    1331339427-PICT0887.JPG

A bath in the Ultrasonicmachine solved the problems with flame. The brass gause i pulled out , cleaned it and put it in again.

    1331339711-PICT0903.JPG

I wanted to make four feet , like the Enders have.
These are only four dents at the bottom, that prevents the bottom from being scratched from the ground.

    1331339504-PICT0888.JPG

I forgot this Idea until i began painting, than i tried making the dents , with a ballhead hammer, without ruining the painting i just had made. The dents didn't get square, but i don't mind, they are doing their work. :content:

    1331339766-PICT0910.JPG

    1331339818-PICT0911.JPG

While painting the Hiker in blue, i thought it would be a good idea also painting my 22B blue.

    1331339909-PICT0938.JPG

@ kristian 123 i will answer your question later, at the end of the story i come to a conclusing that will answer you questions.

Okay let's come to an End. First two stoves that not quite belong to all that other stuff:

    1331513159-PICT1098.JPG

    1331513236-PICT1100.JPG

A Tangria, and a stove from the swedish army with a svea spiritburner, i modified that ,and now can put the Bordeburner inside. While transport the Borde burner fits in the kettle. A nice small system when i don't want to take too much coockingstuff with me.

    1331513277-PICT1102.JPG

    1331513325-PICT1103.JPG

At the end we arrive at my favorite stove. An Enders 9062 BN. Never heard of this, as i live near the „Sauerland“ (about 80km), where the Enders were made and got that stove from a guy from Lüdenscheid where some while Enders had it's seat and that guy had worked there, i think it's a prototype. Silentburner ,like 9060D, 9061 etc, tank from the 9060D, but a smaller lighter case,to come in coockingposition one part of the case slides out for about 4 cm, nice construction, but perhaps too expensive to make. With Gasoline in it weights 1,5 kg, so it's much lighter as the 9061 BW that with gasoline weights 2,3 kg. It's 17to 17 cm ,like the Hiker,at a hight of 9cm.

not me the winner of the two Enders. Never mind, I'll keep an eye on the B...ybay.
I have seen your "prototipe":great! pease. if possible more pictures would be welcome. Really impressive the compactness, but still a bit heavy: my 9060D is 1750 grams, including a foll 125 cc spitit bottle, spares, funnel and wrench.
for weght/performance ratio, I still consider the 9063 baby one of the best: not so powerfull, but compact, failproof, and reliable. By the way, I discovered a quite failproof way to unscrew the burner from the tank: tank filled with water, trottle valve full open,no tank cap, a cople of minutes of blowtorch at the burner tube, just close to the tank, and voila, it unscrews without big effort, a proper open end wrench and heavy heatproof gloves are mandatory.

    ciao

Well, bad that you didn't get the Enders, I didn't bid, but in the moment the prices get cracy, at the weekend no way , in the week with a bit of luck it's possile to get some stoves that are not so expensive. Sunday the 9065 went away for 351 €, but if you look at the bidlist, i think the seller got it, but there was someone who bidded 301€. I need a safe for my stoves.
Some more photos from the 9062 BN perhaps tomorrow, it's too late now. Here some from my new entry last week:

    1331599182-PICT1071.JPG

    1331599351-PICT1080.JPG

    1331599393-PICT1081.JPG

The Optimus 155 had one Patriaburner and one nearly unsued Cobraburner. The burners went into the ultrasonic bath, but more later. Good night.

Well Orsoorso nice technich to unsrew the burner at an Enders. But to tell the truth i never had that big troubles like are reported. I put the tube into a vice, a blowtorch at the mounting hexagonpart of the tube not too long, and than turning the tank, always went well for me. But i've heard about many guys having big problems to unsrew it.

Here some more pictures of ma Enders 9062 BN :

I think 1,5 kg with the tank full of fuel is quite good, as there are about 250ccm gasoline in the tank i don't know what the baby weights, i don't have one, i dont like that sqare tank.

Tuesday evening i traveled to a small village near Cologne to get this:

    1331858447-PICT1120.JPG

Made a nice trip in the dark by bike to a friend that lives nearby this village. As the guy who gave me the stove, said that he had fired it the other day and their was an amount of fuel in it, i fired it up and had a nice cup of coffee with my friend.

    Good night :content: Friedhelm
