I was wasting a few minutes browsing for nothing in particular on Ebay on Sunday when I came across a Primus 71 which had just been listed with a start price of 99p. Decided to have a look and was surprised to see it had a Buy-It-Now price of £15. My son only asked me on Friday what I would like for my birthday. Problem solved! I know there are already quite a few of these in the Stove Reference Gallery, but the more examples we have of a stove in the gallery, the better we can spot differences and track the history. The date code is AP which is 1951. Re-packed the spindle, cleaned the jet and away she went. I'll scan the instructions and put them in the Reference Library as there are none that match these.
That's about what I paid for mine after exchange rate conversion. But mine doesn't look near as good as that. Mine fired straight out of the box though. Didn't even have to fill the tank.
