here my new find, an NOS Heinze Geniol Stove of the german army. this model seems to be a later one, having no more pressure gauge on the tank, but a combined safety valve and pressure indicater, dated with "10.89" which i consider then to be from 1989. more pictures to come soon.
Oh yum yum, I'm in love! Reminds me of a more civilised 111. To use or not use, that is the question...
Hi Nikos, whenever I see your new photo I think of Humphrey Bogard in the "African Queen": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_African_Queen_(film) http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Hu...RO9C98gPg3PzGCw&ved=0CHEQsAQ&biw=1366&bih=634 Best Regards, Kerophile.
I think this rates as an equal to finding an Optimus No° 9. Certainly worthy of being the centerpiece to any collection.
haha no i will not use it so far (because i have another 2 of them to use). here are some more detailed pics:
A very nice and well engineered stove,i like the rapid preheater on this as well, and i also like the way all the tools are placed. Hi george i agree Nikos's pick reminds me of Humphry Bogart, and the African Queen is one of my favourite films from the 50's,and great cast bogart Katheren Hepburn and Robert Morley
Hi! I have pretty much the same stove that a friend wants to buy. I haven't found any for sale and so I have no idea of an asking price. Any suggestions?
