Picked up a Coleman 426B - date??

    I picked up a nice condition Coleman 3 burner 426B last night for $20.

    It's in nice condition, the paint inside and out looks really good - and it came with a Coleman folding stand that holds the stove about 3 ft off the ground.

    Unlike my other Colemans, there doesn't appear to be any date stamped on the tank tabs or the bottom of the stove. How do you date these?

    Plain 426, about late 40's.
    426B, mid 50's.

    Best 3 burner there is, IMHO...

    Wow, that's great - thanks for the info. It is in really good shape, nice paint, no chips or scratches - it looks newer than many 80s-90s vintage Colemans I see.

    So no way to get exact dates on this model I guess?
