Primus No 1 Lighting

    I received my caps (inner and outer) along with my Viton cap washer today. I have replaced old/original cap. The stove is pumping up and holding pressure. I am going to light it this evening, or tomorrow

    Does anyone have any guidelines or advice on what I should or shouldn't do?

    I see this stove burns Kerosene, which I have. :oops:

    Don't skimp on the preheat and you'll be fine. You want good strong denatured ethanol, not the watered down isopropanol sold as rubbing alcohol.
