I know, yet another one of these stoves that everybody loves to hate Quick question tho: The fuel pipe that runs from the tank to the burner... Mine appears to be slightly blocked.. And I wondered if it's supposed to be clear and if I need to clean it.. Or.. Is there some sort of restrictor in the pipe? Any ideas what to use to clean this thing? I can't get a wire down the blooming thing because of all the angles, so me thinks an ultrasonic bath?
Hi, The No2 Mk2 has a seat for the needle valve at the 90-degree piece under the burner, there shouldn't be any real restriction though, once the gland nut and needle is screwed out it is quite free-flow. The No2 Mk2-Modified is a section of plain pipe with a fitting on the end, no restriction, although there may be crud in the tank blocking the pickup? Ultrasonic bath and compressed air, or maybe a couple of pipe cleaners bound together to floss the tube Regards, Alec
Thanks Rangie, I thought of pipe cleaners seeing as I have a pipe to clean but all I can find is craft supply ones for kids I will have to nip to hobbycraft This is an awkward little pipe with a right angle at each end, I never thought of compressed air, I'll try that, I have used my hose pipe with no luck
