I recently picked up a little Campingaz Globe Trotter Stove and Mess Kit, I find this is a great little light BP Day hike rig, but unfortunately can't find the stubby canisters anymore. So I sat and thought how can I make this little kit come back to life? I thought wonder if the head from the Globe Trotter will fit the snap and twist valve from my Bleuet Micro Light stove that I never use much anyway? It worked. The results is what you see, and it works fantastic using the 270 and 470 canisters that can be found at Big 5 sporting goods.
Clever idea! A fair few of us (myself included ) have overcome this problem by inserting a Svea 123 where the original stove used to be for a quite good walkin' set. Welcome aboard, this is where things get interesting....
