What type of Optimus stove is this?

    I'm having trouble figuring out what type of Optimus stove this is. Does anyone know?

    I believe its a 99 stove. I am sure some else more knowledgeable will answer shortly with a 100% confirmation. Did you check the photo gallery section?

    Yep, Optimus 99.
    The 199 is bigger and has a silent burner.

    Early 99, later ones use the same heat shield as the 8R.

    Great little stove that appears to have never been fired. Be happy to purchase it from you if you don't need it. :mrgreen:

    Yep, as the Guys have stated, your little stove is an Optimus 99. Look closely at the stamping in the front edge of the aluminum case, and you will see that actually stamped into your stove. Hard to see, if you are not looking for it, specifically. Great little stove, and well worth owning and using. Congrats, and God Bless!

    P.S. Last one I bought was at a Flea Market in Ventura, CA, for $35. My Mom-in-law gave me another one, which she found at "that same old Swap Meet" in San Diego, for only $10! It's not as clean as my others, but runs like the 7 hells!! ;) 8) :D
