As many of us know, Ian's wife is a wizz at sewing and knitting, so here is a little challenge for her: Make a sort of tea cosy to fit over the top of valve adjuster keys used in stoves like the 8r, 123, 99, 199 etc. This would mean no more burnt fingers when adjusting the flame. It would need to be loose enough to be able to slip on and off the key when the stove is in use. I'd be more than happy to buy several from her Profit could be given to the site maybe? So come on Mrs M, save our fingers please 8)
Mrs. M. asks why you don't take the key off the control when the stove is running. She tells me the key is chained to the stove so it is difficult to lose.
Hey Rik Don't you think a knitted key cover would rather contrast with the rough-tough outdoor image ? Here's an idea - wear a glove Cheers
